Product Features
PFA: The insulating material PFA has excellent thermal stability, maintaining its original chemical properties after 2500 hours at 285°C. It is a new type of high-performance fluorocarbon resin developed to overcome the processing difficulties and inability to be continuously extruded of PTFE. Because PFA uses continuous extrusion, the manufacturing length is much longer than PTFE wire and cable manufactured by the piston extrusion method, and it is easier to process. Therefore, PFA can replace PTFE for insulation and sheathing of cables at frequencies below 1 MHz, and can also be used as a sheath layer for RF cables.
Optional - Corrosivity of combustion gases (halogen-free) complies with DIN VDE 0482 Part 267, DIN EN 50267-2-2, IEC 60754-2 (equivalent to DIN VDE 0472 Part 813); Non-flame propagation performance in fire complies with DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2, IEC 60332-1 (equivalent to DIN VDE 0472 Part 804 Test Method B).
